within reasonable driving distance of Utah
that can come and pick up the dog they are interested in.**
We require a minimum 4 foot fence (some dogs may require 6 feet) and we absolutely do not allow electric fencing. Adoptions to adopters in apartments/condos is on a case by case basis depending on the dogs needs.
We do not allow anyone to meet our dogs until we have an approved application on file.

Are you looking to adopt?
We are getting in a record amount of dogs lately. The best way to be considered is to be open to foster to adopt if you are local and able to take them to their appointments in Roy, UT or Murray, UT. You must be within reasonable driving distance of those two cities. There are other requirements which are based on the dogs. Some do require a fully fenced yard and some are ok with an apartment.
We always prefer foster to adopt homes, as that way the dogs get to their forever homes sooner. You can read more about foster to adopt here

Jacie
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pay for her heart medications and treatments. Would be ok in an apartment/condo. Dogs ok. Cats ok. Older kids ok, 12 and up.
Sweet Jacie came to us as a breeder release. She is 9 years old.
Jacie was diagnosed with a grade 4 heart murmur. She had an echocardiogram and was prescribed a low dose of of pimobendan and will need regular checkups to monitor her heart.
Jacie was spayed and had a dental, shots and microchipped.
Jacie is a mellow, loving girl whose preferred spot is right next to you on the couch, napping. Her foster family has worked hard to get her leash trained and she loves to go on walks now! We feel she would do fine in an apartment or condo setting, or a home with a fenced yard.
She will use a smaller doggie door but is a bit intimated by the larger dog door in her foster home.
Jacie is great with other dogs but doesn’t necessarily need another dog in her forever home as long as she has someone home a lot. Good with cats and kids over 12, but an adult only home is preferred since she is a senior girl who prefers a more quiet, mellow home.
Jacie is a total sweetheart who is ready for her furever home!

Lucy
*Requirements*
No small children, older kids 10+ okay. Does well with dogs and cats. Another dog is required in her forever home.
Must have a fully fenced yard. No condos/apartments. She has made progress with a harness but still startles a bit around leashes.
Due to no fault of her own, this little lady’s adoption fell through, so we are now opening applications!
Meet Lucy, Lucy Goose, Lucille, or Lucyfur when she’s being naughty 😉.
Lucy is a 4yr old Bichon Frise retired breeding mama that came in February when the breeder retired. This sweet girl came in covered in mats and stains. After getting spayed and a dental, she is now ready for her new life as a pampered princess. Her vet check was great and she’s in perfect health. She is average size for a bichon at about 14-15 lbs.
She is playful and loves to snuggle her human and furry companions, so would need another dog in her furever home. She is more confident when around other dogs.
Preference will also be given to someone who is home most of the day, as she has shown some signs of separation anxiety and does not enjoy being kenneled.
She has made progress with potty training but will need patience and consistency to get her all the way there.
She is doing better with a harness but startles with the leash so she absolutely needs a secure fenced yard and cannot live in an apartment/condo where she would need to be walked for potty time.

Poppy
REQUIREMENTS: a secure fenced yard. Dogs ok. Cats ok. Older kids (8 and up) ok.
Poppy is an adorable 5 lb chihuahua terrier mix who came to us from the recent hoarding situation in Ogden.
Poppy can be a little timid at first but once she warms up she is a total Velcro dog who just wants to be cuddled up with her person.
She is doing well on her house training but will need patience as she adjust to her new home and schedule. She does well in a crate and sleeps there at night.
Poppy will need work on a leash as she’s never really been on one. Because of this we feel she would have a hard time in an apartment/condo situation.
Poppy would love to have someone home most of the time and would do ok solo if her people are home. If her people work she will need another small animal companion to keep her company. She does well with both dogs and cats.
