Lucy
*We do not ship. Adopter must come to Utah to adopt.*
REQUIREMENTS: A secure fully fenced yard. Someone home much of the time preferred. Dogs ok. Cats ok. Older kids (over 8 ) ok. Another dog is not required if someone is home most of the time. But another dog is required if people are not home.
Pretty Lucy came to us from the puppy mill industry. She is a very petite little girl at about 12 lbs. Lucy was quite skittish and shut down when she first came into rescue. She is doing so much better now thanks to her loving foster mom.
Lucy has started coming out of her shell. She loves to do zoomies in the yard and play with toys. But she also loves her snuggle time and wants to be with her person as much as possible. She is good with other dogs but definitely prefers to be with her people. We feel she would fine as an only dog as long as her people are home most of the time and she will have very few alone hours. She would need a similar size doggie companion if her forever family works and are away from home a lot.
Because she’s from a puppy mill she has not had much time on a leash and is not a candidate for a condo or apartment. She needs a secure fenced yard.
She is doing well with her house training. She is doing well with the doggie door in her foster home. She needs to be let outside first thing in the morning, and will need her forever family to patient and willing to work with her on her house training, especially if they do not have a doggie door. Accidents are to be expected while she adjusts to her new home and schedule and she will need to be given plenty of opportunities to go outside.
Lucy was given a clean bill of health. She is heart clear. She had ear infections when she first came into rescue, which have been treated. She was spayed and had a dental where she lost just a few teeth.
Lucy is nervous when meeting new people and will sometimes nervous piddle. This is getting better as she gains more confidence and will hopefully keep improving as she settles in to her forever home. She is more nervous with men than women, so any men in her forever home will need to go slow and be patient to win her trust. Once she warms up she loves to be with her people.
She sleeps in the big bed with her foster mom but will also sleep just fine in a crate.
If you would like to apply to adopt Lucy and meet all of that lister requirements you can find our application at the top of this page or you can email for one.

Quinn
*We do not ship. Adopter must come to Utah to adopt*
REQUIREMENTS: A VERY secure fenced yard. Quinn is a very curious boy who wants to be with you. If you leave the yard, he will look for a way to leave the yard.
Quinn would love another young playful dog. No kids under 12. No apartments or condos. Someone home much of the time, as he does have separation anxiety.
Handsome 10 month old Quinn was rescued from the puppy mill industry. He has seen the vet and got a clean bill of health. Heart clear, patellas are sound. He came in with bad ear infections which we have treated. He has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on shots.
Sweet, timid Quinn was very shut down when he first came in, but since being in his foster home he has started to come out of his shell and become the puppy he was not allowed to be in the puppy mill. He has discovered toys and chewing on stuff (leather purse handles, cords, etc.) he shouldn’t. 😅
He is an extremely smart young puppy and learns quickly by emulating his siblings. As such, he is learning to walk on a harness and leash and is doing well.
His foster mom has been teaching him to ring a bell to go potty. He also has some experience with a dog door and has done quite well with his house training using the dog door, as well. He is doing pretty well on his housetraining but will need patience and more work on it once he’s in his forever home. He will need to learn the new routines and accidents are to be expected initially.
Quinn loves clicker training and catches on really quickly. He knows simple commands such as sit and stay.
Quinn loves to sleep in the big bed with his foster mom and dad and would love to sleep in the big bed in his forever home. He is crate trained and will go in the kennel when told to. He has some separation anxiety (this is lessened by being placed in a larger kennel with his sibling) which is common with puppy mill rescues and he gets a little panicked and barks when his people leave (and when they return because he is SO happy they are back). This is something that will require patience and understanding, and will hopefully get better as he settles into his forever home.
Quinn can still be quite timid with new people and in new situations, although some simple one on one time with his adopter will quickly dissipate his timidity. He thrives off having other dogs around and as such does need another confident dog in his forever home. A young, playful dog since he also loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home. Because he is timid, we feel small kids would be hard for him, and preference would go to an adult only family.
If you meet the requirements and would like to apply to adopt Quinn our application is below or you can email us for one.

Chance
*We do not ship. Adopter must come to Utah to adopt*
Requirements: A fenced yard, someone home much of the day, another playful dog, older kids ok. No apartments or condos.
Adorable Chance will be ready for his furever home soon!
Chance came to us from a puppy mill where he had aged out. He was nervous at first but quickly blossomed into a sweet, happy puppy!
Chance weighs just under 10 lbs, he has been neutered, is up to date on shots and microchipped. When he was neutered they discovered he has an irregular heartbeat. It is not a heart murmur, and doesn’t affect him at all, but is something to be aware of when hr has to under anesthesia in the future. Other than that he is a healthy little guy!
Chance loves to play fetch and spend time outside so we do feel he would do best with a fenced yard and plenty of chances to play outside. His foster is working on his house training and he is making progress but his furever family will need to know he will need continued training. He is doing well walking on a harness and leash.
Chance loves to play, and we feel he would do best in a home with another young playful dog. He does great with the other dog in his foster home.
Chance would fit in a variety of homes. If you do not meet the requirements listed at the beginning of the post your application will not be accepted.
Chance will be ready for adoption in a few weeks when he’s had a chance to recover from his neuter.
We are taking applications now, so if you’re interested in applying to adopt Chance our application is on our website or you can email us for one at [email protected]

Taking Applications Now!
Are you looking to adopt?
We are getting in a record amount of dogs lately. The best way to be considered is to be open to foster to adopt if you are local and able to take them to their appointments in Roy, UT or Murray, UT. You must be within reasonable driving distance of those two cities. There are other requirements which are based on the dogs. Some do require a fully fenced yard and some are ok with an apartment.
We always prefer foster to adopt homes, as that way the dogs get to their forever homes sooner. You can read more about foster to adopt here
You can find our application below.
