Fostering for CCR
Can't adopt but would still like to help?
Consider being a foster home!
Foster homes are vital to keeping a rescue running. Our ability to save as many dogs as we can depends entirely on our fosters!
If you foster for Cavalier Crazy we pay for all medical expenses. We ask that you provide food, but arrangements can be made if that's not possible! Your foster cavalier will come to you with any and all supplies that you need, including a crate, collar, leash, bowls. We want to make fostering as easy as possible! If the dog needs to go to the vet or groomer, you can take them or you can make arrangements and we will do it, but either way the rescue pays for the appointment.
You can be as involved in the adoption process as you would like! Want to interview prospective families? You can! Want to leave it all to us? That's fine too!
Our fosters get the first opportunity to adopt their foster dog, unless the foster was notified beforehand that the dog already had a home lined up.
You must be willing to drive to Murray or Clearfield for general appointments and to Roy for surgeries. We sometimes are able to use a vet in Murray for some surgeries but most are in Roy.
